MGF 1.8i
First registered in April 1999 after being bought from a dealer in
London. Built at Longbridge in December 1998. She was first registered
in April 1999 after being bought from a London dealer.
She spent the first 12 years in the Birmingham area.
In 2011 the infamous head gasket was done with cam belt etc at MGF cars
in Peterborough.
It was then purchased from there by someone from Darlington who only did
900 miles in 6 years.
We purchased her in June 2017 for £900.
In August 2023 Midge had done 92,000 miles 25,000 by us.
The previous owner said we probably would not get much further than the
Lake District.
To date we have toured the Cotswolds had many weekends away in
Northumberland, Lincoln etc. We have also toured around Scotland’s NC500
and two tours of Europe with more planned.
