YDCCC - Dales Trail -
Sunday 14th June 2026
Bolton Castle will once again be the location for
Dales Trail 26.
This magnificent Castle offers a fantastic backdrop
in the heart of Wensleydale. We thank Lord Bolton
and his team for the use of the castle grounds for
what promises to be a great event.
For more information about this historic location
go to www.boltoncastle.co.uk
In 2025 we had a record breaking 69 entries taking on
the 100 mile (approx.) route through the amazing
Dales
countryside.
There will once again be a grand raffle with all
prizes having been donated, meaning that all the monies
taken will go to our nominated charity. The 2025
raffle raised £700.
Our chosen charity to support in 2026 is Hambleton
Community Action. This organisation provides
a wide range of services to the communities of
Northallerton, Bedale and the surrounding villages.
These include a community car scheme (taking people
to hospital and doctors’ appointments); Carer’s
Break (respite sitting); Community Visiting and Social
Groups (for the bereaved, lonely or isolated).
For more information go to their website www.hambletoncommunityaction.org
New for 2026 is award nominated mobile caterer
Michael from Millie Moo’s Roasts; check out his Facebook
Site. You can usually find him and his home-built
trailer on the A167 near Winston in County Durham.
He will provide tea or coffee on arrival along with
your choice of Bacon or Sausage Butty.
Ensure you make your choice on the entry form!
Millie Moo’s Roasts will also be available when you have
completed the Trail.
Please click here Entry Form to download an
entry form. Don’t worry – our website is secure!
We look forward to meeting friends old and new on 14th
of June 2026.
