Alan Grahamís Morris Minor Traveller
Morris Minor Traveller, she is called Matilda after Alanís maternal
Between 1952 and 1971 180,000 Morris Minor Travellers were produced.
Today just 794 are shown licensed on UK roads (end 2020). Matilda was
first registered in August 1970 and owned by a postmaster near Oswestry.
Records show only 25 1970 Travellers on the road.
When I became her custodian in February 2014, she had been owned by 4
others. She also has Volvo seats fitted which are very comfortable. I
have added some upgrades, mainly to allow me to tow my Eriba Puck to
shows, an alternator, front disc brakes and servo to name a few. Matilda
retains her standard 1098cc engine. She is not for the purist but she is
an honest workhorse.
The bespoke roof rack was made by a friend who owns the other one.
